One sign of a happy person is one who loves his work. Rick
Williams, owner of Fallbrook Window Washing Company in Fallbrook, is just such a person.
“I truly like the business,”
Rick says. “I never planned to be in the business all my life. Now I'm celebrating 30 years! I have been blessed with a wonderful
way to make my living here in Fallbrook.”
Rick followed his father, Eric Williams, into the business and became a
partner in 1974. Rick purchased his dad's share of the company in 2002. While in the business, Rick raised his two sons-Eric,
now 24, and Ben, 22-who work with their father in the trade and may be laying the groundwork for an unusual third generation
business while Ricks stepdaughter, 13 year old Jamie attends Oasis High School and helps her mother Janet, with the office
end of the business.
Rick's wife, Janet, is Fallbrook Window Washing's office manager and the person behind the voice
that customers hear when they call (760) 728-8116.
“We are in and out of the office, so if we don't personally answer
each call, we have 24-hour voice mail service and all calls are returned promptly.” Rick gives a lot of credit to Janet for
continuing the success of the business. “Janet is always timely making our appointments and staying in touch with our customers,”
says Rick.
Fallbrook Window Washing's full service includes windows washed inside and out. Screens are scrubbed and
rinsed well and the window tracks are brushed and vacuumed out. Mirrors are also included upon request. Fallbrook Window Washing
serves the areas of Fallbrook, Rainbow, and Bonsall. They serve many downtown businesses weekly and monthly and recommend
quarterly service for homeowners.

When a prospective customer calls for price information, Rick
likes to take the time to go to their home or business and meet with the customer in person to explain the service. “I think
it's important that people get a chance to know who will be coming back to do the job for them. They can trust they will receive
the same service from me, one of my sons, or an employee.”
What makes this service nice to Rick is that over the years
he has become friends with many of his regular customers. “I like being recognized when I'm out and about in town. It also
allows me a lot more time with my family than I would ever have with a more traditional job.”
Rick has lived in Fallbrook
since he was 13 years old attending Fallbrook schools and continues to educate himself at Palomar College in subjects that
interest him. He is currently studying pre-hospital emergency medical care. His love of this town is reflected in his service
to the community. Rick is currently a volunteer emergency medical technician with the De Luz Volunteer Fire Department.
Fallbrook
Window Washing is proud to have been a member of the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce for 31 years. Rick is also a member of
the International Window Cleaners Association, which promotes professional standards and safety for the window-cleaning trade.
Rick says of his business, “I like the fact that I offer very personal service to our customers and that they can trust in
our dependable service.”
